Little India


If you want a  little flavor of India without going to India,       explore the district of Phahurat, located near Bangkok’s      Chinatown.  Filled with textile traders and merchants particularly from the Indian Sikh Community who settled in Thailand long ago.  The golden-domed Siri Guru Singh Sabha temple is a landmark of  Phahurat.  There are a variety of Indian Restaurants serving authentic Indian curry.    

It’s best to wander around the area in the daytime hours, anytime from 11 am - 6 pm is lovely

How to get there: You can take a taxi to China Town and walk from there.
